Default Beat Up A Kid In A Wheel Chair... (Spec V)

So now that I have my Stage 2 in my SRT-4 (265-270 whp), my car is a lot louder and gets a lot more double takes. So last night my g/f and I were heading back to my house on the freeway. Some SER comes flying up and slows down next to me. I first look behind me (no traffic for 1 mile) and look in front of me (no traffic for at least 2 miles).

So I looked over, dropped it into 3rd and he dropped it into 3rd probably also. We get at the same speed and I do the old "3 horn thing". We both stomp on it and are even for 1 second than I just start pulling like a fucking train. I put 3 bus lengths on him in about 10 seconds. (hit about 90 and I shut down). I go back to my normal 70mph cruising speed and he pulls up next to me and I guess was motioning over to the next exit. So I oblige and do so. Turns out he has pulleys and a full exhaust (tops I'll give him 185hp.. and being gracious). So it was like beating up on a kid in a wheel chair.

But those Spec V's are always a toss up if it has something done (turbo or supercharger). Either way it was pretty cool to talk to the guy afterwards.

You pull over around here and it's fight night. Buncha dang rednecks lol. No offense to country people. I have given up-seriously- on trying to talk to people about their cars. People are idiots. They either don't have a clue-it came like this i dunno- or they are jerks. The guys who drive SRT's are really notorious about it. LOL no offense Vamp. I have only had one good conversation...with a guy who has a RICED out civic...but it sounded so good i actually followed him home. He was super nice and we are friends to this day. Other than that....fuhget about it. Guess thats why i'm always here.

I gave up on them as well. They will either give me a mouth full of rice crap, will not shut up about their car, treat you like you have never seen a CAI before, or worse hump your leg becaue you know what they are talking about. I can only handle so much car talk before I am terribly bored or aggrivated with the person.

thanks ***...notice how i paid compliment to the crooked h? why do you think i'm here? to talk about how great the spec-v is? not likely...just stating my opinion on a car i used to own. i beat tibs all day long with my spec v in the straights and the twisties so i prefer it stock over a stock hyundai.
since i plan on going with a high hp turbo setup i'll be going with a hyundai. thanks for the welcome though and sorry to hijack your thread i'm a fine of the srt's as well
