Default XD v. LC2 2.0 v2.0 (Me vs. Ryan's Beta Accent, again)

Recap: Last time he had...

Stock accent exhaust
Stock accent clutch/flywheel (beta)
3.8whatever accent trans

Was really close to dead even with me winning one run

Now:
XTD Clutch/7.5 pd. flywheel
2 1/4 custom exhaust
XD trans

First "run"... eh or whatever

Pulling onto the highway I stayed right on his butt until the top of 3rd, but I had a little headstart. Kinda bothered me thinking the upgrades hadn't helped that much.

Then the real run.
50 mph both starting in 3rd, by the time I was ready to shift into 4th he had about 3 cars on me. Much MUCH better. Now its running like a betaswap should

I'm thinking I may do the swap sometime in the next 6 months or so...my dad wouldn't know the difference (he knows crap about cars..).

I've thought about swapping the wife's Accent, but who wants to do that to the wife's car?

When she gets a new car we'll prolly be keeping the Accent and I'll swap it then.

Moral of the story, if you do a swap change the exhaust out for something bigger. Accent exhaust kills the beta. Also I think the XD trans works well with it. I know ryan had some traction issues from a dig before. Id like to see it go from a stop now. I still think the beta ecm would make it meaner than what it is... they still feel less powerful below 4k, but when your racing when are you under 4k

I would like to race one of you guys. We should do it like Highlander. "There can only be one" so I will race and beat all the Hyundai's in florida and then I'll go to to all the east coast states until I reach Canada and become "The one. "

i'm sorry eyelid, but i think your scoupe turbo stands no chance against tony's car. He has some nice secret behind his x3. In about 3 months his car will be unstoppable.
