Default did some runs

i got bored and took my stopwatch and went to a rural road with a level ground..

standstill launche..no clutch dump
0-60:8.5 seconds

2nd attempt:8.3

3rd-4500RPM clutch dump:7.9 secs.

this was with the beta accent running with 15 inch steelies in the rear and 13's on the front..
TEMP:59 F

with a header
and SFR beta ecu adpater..i'm confident i can have consistent 7's

and i need half a quart more of redline MT-90..cause' it's grinding again.

Wow...that's much slower than my Buick. I think I was expecting much better numbers from a Beta-swapped Accent...but if you think about it, that's quite a bit faster for only 30-ish more horsepower.

If your buick and that beta swapped accent where on the track, I'd put my money on the accent. Reguardless of what tak came up with for 0-60 times with a stop watch.

unlike the other beta accents..i don't have any serious mod's to go with it,

it's just a stock beta and an accent tranny,
no aftermarket clutch or headers..
it's got a ricer exhaust and a mock intake...and a short shifter,

when i get my headers, a real exhaust system, and a underdrive pulley,

off the line acceleration may not be as well as expected but when it's past 50..it haul's like a Mofo!!
