Default new civic v. me

so hit up a new civic tonight. i wasn't really racing until i noticed the civic start to take off, so it was a crappy start for both of us until we were sure we were both racing.

anyways, i had the lead on it for a good while up until about 60, i had a turn coming up and didn't want to push it, but it was already pulling ahead of me at that time and i'm sure i'd have been eaten alive. that the vtec kicking in?

PS: guessing it had to have been an automatic

Haha. Back when the Camaro was running... Mom had fun. She didn't really race she just kinda went fast. and oneday we were passed by a 06 Civic Si and I told her to pass him. We were on a two lane highway so we just went faster. So then he decided to try to keep up... and we got stuck behind a minivan doing 55 so we cut him off and just left him behind. Then at the next stop light there was a late model civic.. like a 02 or 03 and and they thought they were racing us but my mom was just driving.

P.s. People in pickup trucks always want to know if they can outrun camaros and mustangs. Listen... You can't. You might if you've actually done some mods. But if you just got a cat-back exhaust like most everyone with a pickup has. Just leave us alone. dang.

I've only had two guys in a pickup try to race me in the Firebird. One was a brand new SSR so I can see his point but he still lost.

The other guy had some lowered 70's Chevy stepside but he was slow.
