Good year co-worker..VW lunatic...
Car..1997 VW jetta GLX Mark III
engine:Rebuilt VR6
mods:Ported intake manifold,Ebay headers, 2.1/5 inch exhaust with magnaflow muffler,Hotwires,Unorthodox crank pulleys..Mark 4 GTI mags and short shifter


i watch a couple of video's on streetfire and most stock Vr6's hit 60's in the 7's..

what do you think the outcome will be?

VR6's have a lot higher hp and torque ratings than your LC1...

No offense or anything, but it would rip you up pretty hardcore in a straight line. If it was a circuit or autocross, you'd mess him up though. MIII Jettas are tippy especially w/the Vr6. They're known to roll for some odd reason.

I expected it as much, the jetta is a compact car with a compact 6 cylinder engine..
it's tippy because of it's narrow track..heavy engine and tripodish rear torsion beam suspension.

I raced a 2001 accord v6 lost by a car and a half length..that's before the "new" clutch
