Default My turn.. cheap plastic door panals!

Two years ago, the hard plastic panal on the driver's side door cracked at the handle.. I had it replaced at the dealer. Well, that is wrong, I had it replaced TWICE at the dealer because they ordered it in the wrong colour the first time... after they had taken the door apart, they opened the box and discovered that instead of bronze, it was BLACK! So, they had to reassemble it and order the correct one.
Currently, that door panal is slightly more silver than black.. all the more reason to paint the interior... however, I noticed the other day that the passenger side panal is now cracked IN TWO PLACES!

I rarely have passengers.. the few times I have had passengers, both the plugs that cover the screws that hold the grab handle on disappeared.. now the panal is cracking at the handle and up by where it meets the top of the dash.... and of course my Tib has 72,000 miles so it is out of warrenty... what a piece of trash design!

hey no big deal. if you were smart and you had them replaced then you should have put a thick layer of angel hair on the back. but i gess you learned your lesson. now what you gotta do is paint the door pannels. fix the cracks with bondo and then put angel hair on the back of it and you should be good.

I had the dealer replace the driver's side... one of the reasons I will never leave the car with my dealer EVER again. I will have to figure out a way to fix the passenger side panal... I will probably glue it up and then reinforce it with glass fibre... then I have to get around to repainting the entire bronze plastic.. the slight silver tint to the "new" door panal drives me nuts everytime I look at it.
