Default Purple

so this girl at work says to me today "i really like your purple car. it's cute"

"NO *****, IT'S A COASTAL BLUE ACCENT AND IT'S NOT CUTE!"

i'll admit, at night, under the light from parking lots, it can sometimes have a purpleish tint to it. what's worse, this isn't the first time my car has been called purple. i want to get in a minor accident and have whoever hit me pay for me to get a new coat of paint all around to "get an even cover up" and just have it painted a different colour.

don't you guys all hate hyundai's choice to make that horrific paint job??

coming from my neighbour to the South, I will let that slide as it is of little importance to me. Get a life, up here we spell it colour and that is the way life goes. You cant win every battle (did I spell battle right?)

I don't want to dwell on it, but I do think that it's odd that color and colour are spelled (and to some degree pronounced) differently in different places. There are a few others too, it's just interesting...

Floyd / ATrimble I don't want to see anymore of that behavIOUR. It's an English thing isn't it. Jed would know. Ah just look at their alphabets and words. Spanish people i swear have to say 16 words to say what we say in like 7. We are just efficient. /bs

looks pretty blue in the avatar. i think we see colours that are not adsorbed by the dyes. So the only colour we see is the colour blue from the light spectrum that hasn't been adsorbed like the rest (black adsorbes all colours-lol) so it makes sense that under certain color lights some other colors may be reflected back as well and alter what we percieve to be the color of the car.
Thats my best shot at it. just tell her it would look better with her on the hood.

Colour me bad. actually it looks stupid with the "u" in there.
