Default AZ's Wonderful Roads

Tons of construction goes around all the time around here and i'm kind of thankful for that since i learned to drive here i'm much more comfortable around construction than most people

anyways, tonight i'm driving home and suddenly the road gets proper ****ty. they were resurfacing it or something, all the hard concrete with grooves in it was exposed. so dust is getting thrown all over the place, there's no lane markers, cars are swerving all over because those ****ing grooves catch your tires and pull you off in weird directions. all of this was quite sudden and with no signage, thanks a lot city of chandler.

then comes the best part, the part where the road goes back to normal surfaces. you know, the part where it's raised like 2 inches above the rest, the part that's like a small ****ing curb???????

yeah, dust, no lights, and no ****ing signage = hitting that **** at full speed. now, them stock 13"s weren't meant for that ****. my CD player skipped for like a full 5 seconds (this has NEVER happened before) and i'm worried about my alignment, struts, all that ****. my grandmere had this **** happen to her before and had to get a lot of alignment work done.

i know no one reads signs but seriously, doesn't this merit a ****ing heads up?? a "hey yer about to hit a small curb!"

grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they're doing that on purpose... you don't have to just stop the roadcutter, you CAN lift it gradually, I've seen it done in my town.
