But my friend currently attends the naval academy and ran into some **** luck tonight.
his life there has pretty much sucked, like everyone else who goes there. but he happened to find something awesome that helped him through it all.
he never really dated at all in high school but at the academy while he was on weekend leave he happened to meet this girl and they happened to click.
Tonight the two of them were supposed to go to the Plebe Formal (first-year formal). This would be his first real date to a dance.
She was supposed to pick him up (first-years aren't allowed to have cars) but on her way to get him she got into a car accident. He found out she was in a coma and gets to the hospital right as she passed away...
i guess this is a flame because like just ****ing sucks sometimes and i have no idea what the **** to say to him to make him feel better. i just don't even know where to begin...

on top of it, they found her phone by her. she had just tried texting him before she went into her coma and it said "i love you and i'm sorry i couldn't..."

that is really twisted. The only way you can feel the pain is IF you have had the same done to you. I can only imagine what that would feel like. That is by far the most ****tiest thing that can ever happen to anyone. Tell him we're sorry and I hope he gets something good in return for this very sad tradgedy.

i went through that. the girl was coming to meet me at work for a date...a first date and she was killed by some ricers racing on the street. i feel guilty. there really isn't anything you can say, and no matter what you say, he won't know how to respond. just be there with a six pack and a 360.
