Default What The @#@$@$@?!

Ok so, theres an issue I'm trying to help a friend out with. He recently sold some **** to this guy...acctully let me start with the ****. The item he sold is worth about $1,200 brand new. He bought it off another guy for 700 who had also bought it off someone else for 700. So the origanl owner bought it for $1,200. Then used it for a few months, sold it to this second guy for $700, HE uses it for another 6 months or so then sells it to my friend for $700. Now heres the issue. From whgat everyone said...the item works. My frined NEVER USED IT...never. Just sat in the box in his room for 2 months then he decided to repaint it and SELL IT for $600 ****ing dollers!!! not 7 but 6! well acctully it was $500 w/ $125 shipping. Well the guy he sold it to decideds to use it and...OOOP! Its not working. after a couple weeks with the damn item the guy files a claim and wants money back for it.

heres the question: Should my frined give the guy his refund to keep it cool and make him happy?

Also remember this item is about 2 years old (maybe) if that and brand new was $1,200the refund amout would be $400 from the $500 the guy spent to buy it...forget about shipping. Now the item is repairable and will prolly run about 3-400 on its own...maybe. So you figure $500+400=$900...thats still cheeper than the damn item brand new, PLUS it gets fixed so it end up in brand new condition right?! SO WHAT THE ****!!!?

Personally I would never sell something unless I know the condition to avoid this situation. If I found myself in this situation I would bite the bullet and if he was willing to pay to ship the item back when I recieved it I would refund him the money he paid (not any shipping price).

Very good 03 Accent!!! Yeah well again i was only able to go by what the other previous owners said as far as its condition. Hell I didn't even know you could take a super charger apart! (duh it has to be put together but i thought it was a one time deal.)
