Default Banks and their fucked up interest rates..

it's obvious they love doing this..

I try to get out of the debt loophole by trying to pay off My credit balance but the interest which is almost 60% of the $217 that i pay a month is preventing me from doing so...

So the $217 that i pay..only %60 is going to balance..the rest to the bank to profit from my hard work and toil

3 months ago..it was $186..
next month..$217
and now..$221...WTF!!???

the headache of the fact that the banks want's you to pay them rather than your credit card balance...

I'm just waiting for a credit card offer in the mailbox or go apply somewhere
for a 0% interest for a year or a credit line of $9,000

gonna call the credit card company..tell them to lower my rate's or i'll threaten with a lower rate card and shut them up forever.

Let me ask the members this..
how man of you have signed up for a 0% interest credit card..??
after the 0% grace period expires..do they come hard at you with high interest rates?
is that why american people switch from card to card?

The interest accrues for the whole time you have 0%, you just don't get charged for it until the period is over and then they SLAM you with it (not speaking from experience, but from what friends have told me).

a loan with a fixed interest rate would be another option..but i'm worried that my credit history won't be sufficient.

Yep i'm in a similar boat. I just refi'd my visa with a bank loan. 4.5% is a heck of a lot better than 19%

Took me 2 years to pay of 3k at $130 payments per month. I have a pretty good credit rating mind you but that's the way to go as far as i'm concerened.

Also even better than that is to not go hog wild on your visa for drinking binges all summer and not expect to be racked up like crazy.

Good Luck man

tonight..i took my credit card and snipped it to pieces..

I'ma not going to be a mindless masse's of Profit for a 3rd party Financial Corporation..

FUCK THE CORPORATE WORLD!!!FUCK THEM
FUCK THEM
FUCK THEM!!

They all use marketing ploy's and such sweet advertising and persuasive sweet deals..0% financing in big bold letters..

after the 0% period end's..they Flip the mask from a happy face to a Grin..
They come at you like a animal and look to up your interest for any dumb reason..

The profit greedy motherfucker' at Bank of america found one late payment 4 month's ago and found it as justifiable reason to up my interest from 17.25 to a whopping 22%

next time my credit card interest goe's up agian..i'm go to BOA..and ask to speak to the 3rd party that handle's my credit card..I'm gonna Curse her, the Company that she works for and denounce the damn corporation that's one of the main source's of america's saggin economy..

today you may say theres nothing you can do to lower my rate but we'll see..
we'll see bitch!!

There are some credit cards that you can get to where if you pay the bill off in full every month you won't be charged no interest. I know with the visa I have that I don't pay interest unless the bill isn't fully paied by the due date.

Or use the card ONLY when cash is in your accounts to cover it.

I had a 0% card. They held onto my check for a wek then cashed it so they could say I was late on my first payment. BOOM! 20% interest. Now they won't lower it without me doing a bunch of paperwork. I keep $0 balance on that card, for emergencies only (where I also have the money in my account.)

I have another one that let's me go almost two months at a time without a payment if I pay it in full each time. No bad credit being put on my report, but late fees get added sometimes. I'm ok with that. That's their practice, NOT their official policy.
