it's interesting, i always think i could do things better too. make commercials, run businesses, etc. too bad i don't want to take the time to change things.
but what's even more interesting, is that hyundai is so slow to change how the work, because whatever they are doing is working just fine for them.

The *Duh* commercials are dumb. It makes Hyundai is for dummy drivers.
the only reason why we own and drive them is because they're cheap.
the only reason we mod and tune it is because they're so awfuly slow,
Uh, speak for yourself.....or your car.
I bought my Tib because I always wanted one and liked the styling.
It was also pretty quick in its day stock. Beat a LOT of cars from the 2000 era.
And as cars became faster, I modified my car to keep up.

I wiped my @ss with my 10 year warranty.
it's all the more proof that hyundai make's appliances.
it's because of this that i hardly ever see hyundai's being compared with it's competitors in caranddriver, road and track or motor trend
oh sure they compare for best value for buck but in term's of driving impressions and track tests..they rule out hyundai al the time..
automobilemag.com bashed the 05 elantra GT for having a meager engine, soft wallowy suspension despite the GT badging, cheapy leather seat's that you sit on, not in like a real sports car should..
The sonata was noted for having a potent v6 but was criticized for it's lack of driver input-like controls, oscillating steering on bumpy turns and lack of suspensions travel and it's electronic touchy throttle
The MC accent was written as having a ropey shifter that doens't like to be shifted fast like a civic si's gearbox.
it was slow and very noisy when revved,
The tiburon has a decent v6, but it's still slow to the competitors and tend's to understeer and lose's steam in the high end power range..it will never be as good or razor sharp precise as the acura RSX-S

Yep, I bought my '02 GT for styling features and price... and it wasn't the slowest car in it's class.
That's what Hyundai needs to advertize.
My Wife and I were just discussing the "DUH" advertizing campaign. To me, it seems to be saying "I'm dumb... I should buy a Hyundai, Duh..."
I'm disappointed that Hyundai seems to be raising their prices relative to the other manufacturers. I, too am seriously considering a non-Hyundai for my next car, even though my last two cars were Hyundais. The Mazda 3 has gotten good reviews for handling, isn't priced that much more than a comparable Hyundai, and there are a lot more mods for them.
