Default so i work at a temp agency...

... and i find people jobs - great right? yes, i thought so...

anyways, this man comes in and registers and I find him a place to work - turns out that he used to camp with my family at a kOa out here... today he just calls me and asked me for a cash advancement on his paycheck - he wanted an extra $20 - proally to go buy booze. ughhh..

i don't understand these people - they aren't working and you find them jobs - and they don't show up to it to work. WHYYY... its a waste of time... lol

like if it was me - i'd take the damn job - its a paycheck... or when they do deside to go, and then walk off the job because it doens't pay enough - like wtf do they expect - it pays more than minimum wage and its work - anypay is better than what they are making.

i get so angry at these people lol, and it doesnt help my boss is a dick head and fucks off all the time and desides to go to the bar and drink. he took me out for lunch 2 weeks ago, and then decided he was gonna stay and get drunk and told me to take his car back to the office - then the next morning i had to pick him up... fuckkk i cant wait to make 6 figures and do what ever the fuck i want to do. then on the day i bring him into the office he had to go to cambridge and then took off for the rest of the day to watch football - and expected me to lie for him... jackass

That really sucks!! Some people just dont get it! LOL!! I am glad you posted this though because I have a friend who has been looking for a job and I have been trying to help him out and I was thinking maybe a Temp Agency, I know my work hires people thru a couple different ones but I dont really know how he should go about doing that. Could you please inform of how people can register for a temp agency?? Any info would be great, and since you work at one you might be able to help me with that info...I didnt really know who to ask!!

Thanks!! If you want you can also PM me this info!

So it’s pretty simple to register. Tell him to dress nicely, I mean not a suit and tie...but like jeans and a nice t shirt or kachkis or something. Look presentable. Most places have applications to fill out, so get him in to fill out, and tell him to bring proof of id so SSN, DL. And bring a resume, and any tickets or special training certificates if you have them. Also, if you have a criminal record check, bring it, and also bring a cvor or drivers abstract if you are looking for a driving job. After that, like at my agency, we interview people right on the spot, and if I like them I grade them 1-4 in Communication, appearance, and communication. Also, tell him to make sure his pay expectancy isn't too high, and say you can work any shift - this will give you a better chance at getting a call, and it helps you develop a repor with people =) I hope this helps!
