The 1.5 automatic Accent is incredibly slow. You'll need nitrous or F/I to be respectably quick.

awwwwwwwwww... I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry.. The Hubby had a chance to race a Ferari in the Tibby and he didn't do it! That makes me sad. He had a long day though so he didnt feel like it but it tried to get him to race! That makes me so sad. LOL!!!

Hey, those old 8 valve motors move man! Archaic, non-crossflow mechanical injection or not, when they actually RUN, they do it well!

Race it again at random (ESPECIALLY after an overnight 10 degree weather change, especially if it is MFI) and you'll win.

No consistency with those motors. At all.

We are setting a time for me to exact revenge for you by kicking the crap out of Wilbur's Golf in the Accent.

hehe I've tuned some of those 1.8's... I can show him some mean tricks to get it moving.

Real cheaply too... especially if it's CIS or CIS-E

He dumped the CIS in favor of a Weber carb. It's much quicker now.
