Default hyundai accent turbo help!!!!!

I just bought a hybrid turbo kit for a 1999 hyundai accent sohc!!! How much boost will the computer be able to compensate for before I have to upgrade the fuel management? If so, where can I find injectors, computer, pump, ect. I need an exhaust manifold too, anyone know where i can find one? Better ignition system? will take all the help i cant get!!! I've built multiple mustangs, first time dipping into imports and forced induction, and having a hard time finding parts. Also, any time of suspension out there I can find? Still cant understand this hole front wheel drive thing, lol.

well you need a turbo manifold, prolly 290cc injectors or larger. the 290cc are good for max 9 psi they may be good for more but I wouldnt go past that on a T3/T4. no pum is needed unless your looing for insane boost and hp numbers...id say past 13-14psi...but the engine wont handle that much stock so for 5-8 psi I say your good for now...OH either a bare min. SAFCII or NEO but Id say full AEM stand alone or Mega squirt for engine managment.

On my 02 Accent GSi with stock injectors and ECU we ran into dangerously lean fuel conditions at just over 4 psi of boost on a T3/T4 hybrid. We added bigger injectors (GM 3800 S/C injectors) and an A'Pexi Neo to control the bigger injectors. On that setup we ran a conservative 10 psi of boost on 94 octane fuel. We got a little crazy at the track and turned the boost up, and BOOM! We tore all the ringlands off the pistons. In hindsite, I should never have ran that setup without a full standalone. Without timing control you cannot tune properly and its not a matter of if it goes boom, but when. I do want to boost my Accent again and will be using the PnP version of the Megasquirt that is now available.

Default Hyundai Turbo-ing

Hey there.

I am new to the concept of turbocharging a car and I am looking for some hints and tips from guys with some expierience in the field.

I own an accent 1999 with DOHC 1.5L engine which currently goes somewhere between the lines of 100 to 109 bhp. It is strictly stock, and I have had no improvements on the engine whatsoever. I am not looking to make this car a monster, but would rather enjoy a little boost say up to 140 bhp or so. Is it possible without wrecking the engine in the future? What would I need?

Any response would be much appreciated.

Thanks
