lol I dont meen to nock your post out of the water but,
most of those comparison tests are a bit one sided.
there are a number of things they do in order to make the car in the ad bar look like the best car to get rather then the compatition.
1. missing car information
(make cars look better or worse due to lack of info)
2. bolding names or italics
(makes you look twice at the cars names and stats even if they are not good)
3. missing or bad pictures
(making the car an inconvenience to see)
4. add fly over
(extending the link of an add on the target car so if you put cursor over link it will block all information on the opposing vehicle)
5. spam reviews
(car dealerships writing a good review to sell)
6. wrong car information
(bad or inccorect information on the cars making the car look better or worse)
and the list goes on and on I deffinatly dont trust magasine companies too, because sometimes they will say one car is the best then next month say another is better.
