Default LOOK HERE BEFORE ASKING: FAQ on V-6 GK

Okay I am doing this to provide answers to people asking about the V-6, and the BETA II

Turbo Application

The turbo situation is non existant for the V-6 as of now and most likely for the time that the GK uses a V-6 engine.

Why: Due to the transverse mounted V-6 and the weak internals, the application is not a common route.

Beta:

Well 2 companies from South Africa have jumped on the turbo wagon so to speak. CNK and Alpine Develpments.

Supercharger:

The Alpine SC is a great unit, which has just been CARB approved and Hyundai is looking @ OEM applications from factory. More info can be found here: http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/fo...ic.php?t=24698

CAI

Well most likely 2 applications for right now

AEM, Injen, Hot Shots, KORE

Both gaining around the same hp gain on a dyno around 13hp

EXHAUST

K.O.R.E. (Korean Optional Race Equipment) Nice dual canister design with a free flow design and low rumble @ idle. Dyno gains were promising.

MBRP:
MBRP exhaust for the I4 and the V-6
Straight pipe design and nice low rumble at idle

Greddy:

Some of the same features of the same features that the other EVO series exhausts have with a nice fit under the tib

MUSSA

two systems avialable for the 03

Injen SES

currently available
HEADERS

If you have a BETA the header isn't an issue the headers for previous years 2.0 beta applications, are still the same for the 03 beta.

Delta:
There are 2 companies that make V-6 headers for the tiburon

Key motorsports:
Located in Canada

HotShot Performance
Located in So. Cal-contact HyundaiFixer
V6 and 2.0

Anything else that people want to add PLEASE email spike@sharkmail.ws and I will add to it
