Default AEM SRIK

For you who have installed this item I have a few Questions.
First: The Sucking sound, is that normal? (NOOB Q)
Second: What did it do for your Gas milage?

I'll have to say the loud growl that accompanys hard acceleration is very nice.

:cryon't get the AEM CIA if you live in a cooler climate. Your cars a btich to start in the morning. Stalls all the time. Loud as hell starting it up in the morning. Everybody thinks the car is going to explode! It does sound bad as hell when you step on the gas.

The desert is really dusty, that is why I didn't get the CAI. I didn't like the idea of the filter a few inches away from the road, especially since my GF lives on a dirt road.

kinsale: CAI achieves higher horsey gains than the SRIK because it is sucking in colder air (it is further away from all the hot engine stuff than the SRIK)
