Default aftermarket exhaust for a 2004 tuscani

hi there
i am planing on buying a 2004 tuscani and i am wondering if i should get the 6 speed or just the 5 speed, wondering if it is a closer gear ratio. for example the wrx sti is slower then the lancer evo in the 1/4 cause it is a 6 speed, lancer gets up to speed in second faster and stays in sec longer then the sti, less shifting = faster times. and if you guys know of any good sights for after market for turbo and SC and how much can stock internals hold, in boost, i have looked on the sharkracing site and like the duel muffler on there it sounds awesome but i dont think they ship to Canada. i know its a lot but would be most appreciated

Welcome to the site.

I don't think anybody has done a 5-speed vs. 6-speed, so I can't help you there. Here's the gear ratios though:

5-speed:

1st - 3.231
2nd - 1.952
3rd - 1.296
4th - 0.943
5th - 0.775
Final - 4.056

6-speed:

1st - 3.153
2nd - 1.944
3rd - 1.333
4th - 1.055
5th - 0.857
6th - 0.704
Final - 4.678

As for turbo's and S/C's, we have them in the Hyundai Performance Store:

WELCOME

Please try a search in the FAQ above

Also I would get a 5 spd the 6 spd is like overdrive, not that big a deal to have

As far as the SC your internals should be fine, and hold (ALPINE has one) no turbo for the V-6 (well maybe 1 but it is $$) and no warrenty to back it like the SC option

Well one time when I had first go my Tib and no one was used to seeing them on the road, I raced a 5spd stock for stock and won. But that does not mean the 6spd is faster, the driver could have sucked. But that's the only time I've raced one.
