Default tibby issues

wusup guys, im new to the forums and i want to learn about the new tiburon's.
it'd like to start by knowing any problematic items in the car. for example, i've read about acura rsx tranny's grinding for no reason. therefore, i'd like to know if tiburon's have any issues of this type even when left stock with minor mods. also, how's the gas mileage on the gtv6?
thank a lot guys

Hyundais paint sucks but other then that, the cars are pretty solid. I don't know what gas mileage on the V6 is like but you can get that from hyundais website or the dealership. If you are leaving it stick or just doing minor mods, the car will last a long time as long as you keep the maintance up.

The stock clutch is crap, plain and simple. The tranny itself is a pretty good unit. The engine get's a little iffy at high HP though, at least until someone proves different with actual documentation. It's still a very debatable subject.

If it's the Clutch Thats giving you a hard time, get a Clutch Disc with double or triple disc's on it,GO AFTERMARKET!

The Only thing you'll Sacrifice is The Smooth Let-go of the clutch for awhile.

Here in Indianapolis, we have some of the best problem solvers money can buy. One I spoke with over the weekend said they were looking elsewhere to fix the clutch disk issue. All agree, three grand for a Pagan clutch plate package is just too pricy. So their method is to de-tune the RPMs between 800 & 1400, until the clutch is fully engaged. Less is more? MIKE

note: you could always dump the clutch @ 1500 if you need to smoke 'em!
