What do you guys think it would sound like............I'm tryin to get that rumble sound and the throughty sound. Since flowmasters didn't do it, maybe this will.
I think it will attract every boy and girl in blue for a three-mile radius. Bro, try HKS universal fit exhaust and go with large-bore tubes, minimal bends with 3-2-1 merge collectors, the nice and long ones, not the short, cheap things that run off of the ricer exhaust shop shelves. If getting ticketed for excessive noise is not a problem, you can try for the Hi-Power universal fit such as:
This muffler is included with the catback system that was attached to my Evo, it sounds like a goddamn V8 when it idles. Dont know what the hell it'll sound like when the downpipe goes in. There is also another variant:
The CF wrapped one is surely more expensive. Hope that helped.

My straight pipe with my greddy didn't actually make it SUPER loud like I expected. It is pretty damn raspy and loud though. I love the sound of it. The only problem is that my friend broke the bolt holding the header to the pipe (The one connected to the body so I'll have to drill it out) so I have a leak right at the headers. It is now sounding like it is running off straight headers, and THAT is loud. Guess I gotta push getting headers sooner than I thought...

yes, but a hyundai with a V6..........And i'd like to see the ppl's faces when i rev, and it sounds like an older car like and older mustang with a 6, instead of a new ricer car. Just cause we have 4cyl. and low displacement 6's doesn't mean we all have to sound fast and furious.:dead:
Hmm ,Let me guess you have never heard any of the exhausts that are avail. for the V-6 on the market?
I had a KORE exhaust and it was a low rumble, along with the Greddy and other ones on the market, it is all in design, straight pipes is a waste on the tib
Nah, it wouldn't be a waste. The stock exhaust is pretty restrictive. Since he is going straight pipe, he will be by passing all of the cats.. Maybe a few ponies, but than again he does need some back pressure. But if you want a loud @ss exhaust I'll sell my custom exhaust..It's way to loud for me..
