hey guys i need some help getting a decent exhaust system for my 03 tib 2.0 ... my main desire is the deep sound from the fast and the furious ...you know the one where you can really hear it when you change the gears... the only problem is that i dont have the $600 bucks to spend for the ones that i already found.... Do you have any tips or/and advice???
Also will i ever be able to get that type of a sound from a 2.0 tib???
Is your car completely stock? If so, theres a way i can help you out to get an exhaust for your car for very little. Even if your car isnt stock, we can give you a deal.
THis is about the Evo Fusion exhaust: http://www.teamsr.org/Hyundai/03tiburon-catback.html
We want to test fit itto a 4cyl to make sure everything fits nicely. Wed also like a dyno done. Now, lets say you didnt want to dyno your car, and/or your car is not stock...this is what we could do: If you paid full price for the exhaust, we would ship it to you. When you install it, all you would need to do is take pictures of the install, let us know if there are any quirks with the install, and send us the pictures with a breif install guide, and then wed refund you 200 dollars off of what you paid for the exhaust.
Now, if your car is stock...and if you have a dyno near you you can use, and if you sent us a stock dyno of your car via fax, wed take out 125 dollars off of the initial exhaust price (dyno should only cost you 80). Then, if you do that above mentioned picture thing during install, wed refund you that 200...and if you do an AFTER install dyno, then wed refund you another 150 dollars. That means the exhaust ends up costing only about 150 dollars.
Your other option of course is getting some universal mufflers such as http://www.teamsr.org/Universal/mufflers.html or any from your local muffler shop, and then getting that welded into some custom cat back piping. That would only set you back 400 tops i would estimate.
If youre looking for even more sound, get an intake together with the exhaust. Heck, if all you are looking for is sound, just get an intake. Some intakes give just as much sound as an exhaust...
yeah my car right now is all stock, actually i am getting the ssautochrome headers today for my car....i am very interested in the offer, yamaneko just send me the whole procedure that must be taken. Also what would the up front cost be ???
I am near chicago (30min) a town called Munster in nw Indiana.....also will it be ok to put my headers on ???? can you tell me how much dyno tests go for, and also the upfront cost for the system (exhaust)....
i went to a regular joe shmo muffler shop, and they did a custome 2.5" flowmaster exhaust for 285.00, really deep sound, low end torque, and bery cheap cost!!!!! thats all i can say:lol:

Uh oh:hmmm:
Alright, let me help you out a little.
Cylinders in a straight line = Inline
Your car is not a V4 it is either an I4 or more regularly it is simply called a "4 cylinder".
The other thing is please do not reference that ricer movie when asking questions about your car.

yamaneko i need an answer from you cause this sat i am supposed to put on the headers, i sent you an e-mail already but no response???? i know that you are probably busy but i still need an answer, i f we are going to carry out the plan or not???
I need an response ASAP.....by the way i live next to chicago (about 30 min. away) in Munster INDIANA.
you can probably get a good deal on a custom cat back at a "joe schmoe" muffler shop as was stated before. When you do, ask for mandrel bent pipes. If the shop you go to doesn't do mandrel bends, you don't want it, trust me. The best thing to do is take your time. Don't stress over any of it because you might make a bad decision. Take some time to study this site and other sites to learn more about what to do with your car. There is alot of help available to make your decision but TAKE YOUR TIME! If you don't you might be saying "I wish I would have done things diferently" and then :dead:
