on march 10th in SA,TX one of the guys i know wants to race. hes got the lightweight flywheel, aem cai, and i think a chip in the car. ive got the short ram, cry02 kit and new exhaust system. i have a feeling he'll inch by me because i filled his baby nitrous bottle yesterday. what do ya'll think?

I'm not familiar with the specs on the matrix. what size shot of nitrous is he using?

1.8-liter DOHC
16-valve VVT-i
4-cylinder
173 hp @ 7,600 rpm
127 lb.-ft. @ 4,400 rpm

A little more hp but a lot less torque. The car is about 200lbs less then the Tib but the Tib has better aerodynamics which comes in play a little at the end of the race(verry little).

Asuming equal drivers, and both spraying, you might have the edge.

The matrix has a weakness here, Lack of low end torque.

For the guy with the matrix to go against you,he'd have to rev that four banger to the redline to extract all possible power,
