Default fuel pressure regulator v6 tib

i wanted to buy the one from next gen for ease of use but i was able to use a universal. as ya'll may know, the fuel regulator is mounted on the fuel log. i went to the local salvage yard and cut off the line from a 95 sonata. the return side was the perfect size and bolted right on for the job. i'm a bit unsure how long my injectors will last now, since stock fuel pressure is 50psi and i cranked it to 62psi @ idle.

THE V-6 already has a problem running pig rich all the time and increasing fuel really isn't needed (unless you have ported everything use headers and some big cams, or just lots of boost.

really? thats wierd. its crazy but when i had it set at 52psi the throttle feels good and smooth. where i have it now its a bit sluggish at a launch, when rpms are over 4k, it screams. when im cruising in 4th, give 1/2 throttle, pull feels to be harder than before. after i sell my cry02, im going to try and give it a 50 shot of nitrous.

God bless you're crazy....
Seriously, your fuel economy must have gone to hell now....
You don't need to up the fuel pressure on the stock fuel system on a stock engine.

my bad, i see you have an intake and cryO2 system, both of which do not require you to up the fuel pressure, ESPECIALLY at idle :dead:

yeah, im a bit on the crazy side. weather is slightly bad right now and haven't had a chance to use the cryo2 on it. the concept behind it is, colder denser air mixing with more fuel than normal. i dont have a choice on whether its higher at idle or top end. so far, on one tank 30%city/70%hwy mix, i stretched it to 250 mi. i forgot what i used to get, but i think its far more than that.

i had to. i was running out of gas one day. the fuel economy has been thrown out the window. it actually drives very well in 6th on the hwy. acceleration is still very good from a dead stop. i just have suspension problems right now. but once its rolling-it'll put you in ur seat.
