Default MPG 03 tib gt

OK, I am probab;y starting to sound like my dad, But what kind of MPG do you get. I am getting around 21 mpg since installing the CAI, I do like the way it sounds when I floor it though. I kind of thought the cai would increase my MPG, At 1.92 GAL for gas, 52 miles a day round trip to work and back its adding up. Just wondering..

I've got a CAI on mine too, and on long drives (freeway) I've gotten up to 300 miles on a full tank of gas. Previously I've been getting around 250 mpg when i was stock. But wanting to hear the growl of the engine makes me always waste more gas. It's worked for me so far. I just don't conserve it well enough, always having fun with it. :nervous:

I have a twin turbo (short ram) intake on my 03. I bought the car 6 months ago and have 43,200 miles on it. I drive about 1500 miles a week. I have noticed that after 35k miles that I'm getting about 28 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city. That is of course when I drive appropiate. At 135+ mph, the car will drive for about 1 hour and 31 minutes or 200 miles on a full tank(live in Texas, long straigt highways). Anyways, gas mileage improves with more miles on the car.

Just got back from a nice road trip to Melbourne beach and back. One tank of gas and around 29 mpg. Had to drive nice through central FL cause I can only imagine how much this car stands out to the cops against the pick ups. Had one follow me at 65 mph for 5 minutes. I think just waiting for me to do something. Put on cruise control and smile NIce road trip. Caught a fish. Live the DREAM!!
