I know this site has an explaination on how to install the intake for a v6, and on that explaination it says u have to cut the hole bigger for the section that goes into the from bumper area, but is this the same for the i4 2.0L? cz i looked at it my self and it looks kinda small...
thanks!

yes you do because its a 3 inch pipe, when you install it u can do what i did and i just got some vice grips and bend it to make a bigger hole, it aluminum so its easy. be sure to wrap your lower inlet pipe with something soft because your car will scratch it at as u drive around at high speeds, also replace the long bolt that secures the horn ( or what ever that round thing is) it almost dug a hole into my lower intake pipe you can swap it out with one of your battery mount bolts, and also theirs a arrow on the maf sensor that points to the throttle body make sure it points to the TB. all this isn't cover in AEM's instructions and all these were my mistakes.

yes it is, more air is going through to the throttle body, you will also notice when you floor it, you hear a brief but had suck before your engine started reving up.

yeah mine makes that same noise. Today I installed a cai for my tib(4cyl 2005), and my check engine light is on. There is this filter taht was attached to the stock intake, which I guess checks how much or how cold the air is coming into the engine. Do I need to figure out how to reatach this thingy or can I just leave the cord undone?
