He is right, there are no CURRENT plans for anything like that, and I personally hope they don't either. It looks bad and, yeah, just not good. :ermm:

I agree - I think it's a chopped Saab 9-3 or 900. The roofline/trunk are Saabish and the wheels are definetly Saab 3 spoke Viking wheels. Or very similar.

But - I sorta like the convertable. It doesn't destroy the lines or anything.

And they had a convertable planned for the 1st gen but cancelled it due to lack of demand in the convertable market. The had a show car and everything. AND I remember my first glimpse at the Tib - it was in 94 in Car & Driver, a spy shot of a CONVERTABLE Tiburon which they referred to as the Scoupe as it was still on sale. And you could tell it was the Tib as it had little to no disguse.

I personally think they should come out with a convertable version of a Tibby.. I think that would just look sharp!!:
