Default Headers for '03 I4 Tib

I'm in the US. Anyone know of any bolt-on headers for the 4cyl '03 tibby? The close-coupled cat is the pain in the a@#!

Same headers as for the 97-01 tib and 97-03 elantra. They're all BETA engines.

Bolt-ons are impossible--the cat is welded to the header, any upgrade requires removing it.

Doesn't SR have headers for the I4? I'm not totally sure--but I'm sure someone will check. I believe that the previous gen. Tib headers will fit...

SR has 4-1 headers that will work on the 4cyl in the 03. There is a cat welded onto the headers so you will have to go get a new cat welded on after you have installed your headers. http://www.sharkracing.com/Hyundai/b...eheaders.shtml

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will have to fabricate a setup so I can switch between the old exhaust manifold cat and the new header. If I can get it right it should only take about 30 min to switch between the two for legality reasons. I'd rather do this than buy/relocate the cat...
PS...Be wary of the Dark Side of the Force....
