I was making BLT's for lunch yesterday... Pulled the bacon out of the oven and spilled bacon grease on my left hand. 2nd-3rd degree burns on the back of my hand... In trying to get the grease off, I wiped with an oven mitt and pulled about 2 sq. inches of the top layers of skin... Blister over the rest of the area. My hand still felt like it was on fire on the way to the hospital. 3 hours in the hospital (although at that point they'd given me a drug 3X as strong as morphine)... It's not painful now, but they have me scheduled to see a plastic surgeon next week. Worst pain I've ever experienced...
Totally messed up the weekend as my fiance and I bought some plants for the garden and I still need to mow the lawn...
Not to sound gross but get some pics...I was young when I was burnt 3rd degree on both hands on my palms( I stuck my hand on a grill) I dont remember anything about it but the scars are all on the palms of my hand.

Yeah but since it was teh backside of your hand I wouldnt think there would be any extensive damage. I just have some nerve damage I think since I can hold my hands under hotter water then most people and if i pick up something hot it takes it longer to register that its hot
Why is it that eveyone that usually hates cops are either young punks or law breakers?
I have had more ill run ins with the police then most people and even I realize that every time they were just doing their job and I always got what I desearved.
