ive been eating pistachios non stop for a few days now, and i just want to make sure theres nothing unhealthy about them if eaten in large quantities. im still eating regular food, but also pounds and pounds of pistachios. i never knew nuts could be filling:??:

Anything done is excess isn't good. Eating pounds and pounds daily of these nuts over a couple months may not be good for you.

Not true about protien. Too much can put your kidneys in overdrive and destroy them.

I myself am on a high protien diet but I am working out. Absolute max is 2g per pound of body mas if you are a serious hard core weight lifter. Even most hardcore weight lifter don't go this high. I do 1g per lb myself but for most people, .5g per lb is sufficient for an active lifstyle.

As far as the nuts in your mouth thing goes.....:hmmm:
Yes, too much can be bad for you. Too much of anything even water can be bad for you.
