Well, ever since my break up with the fiance, I haven't been able to get one good night's sleep and it's really starting to take it's toll on me. Every night I have the same night terror at least twice and stay awake afterwards for at least 20 minutes. This hasn't happened to me since I was a kid... :cry:
My question is how can I get a better night's sleep? Is there anything that I can take or do to relieve the stress that is the probable cause of my nightmares or that I can take just to safely knock me out? Midterms are beginning also, so I'd like to get the necessary sleep that I need for me to cope with them. If anyone has had or is still having similar experiences, please share also. Thank you in advance!

Sounds like you're taking this break up like most people do, which is pretty normal for this. Some people get night terrors, some develop ulcers, eating disorders, some just have trouble sleeping etc...
What I recommend to anyone who is having this type of problem is to get counseling so that you can get through this and move on with your life. That way it doesn't develop into a mid life crisis or nervous breakdown in the future.

LMAO, that's great. Doc, thanks for the advice. As soon as I get through this week, my schedule becomes easier to work with, so I've already begun talking to my mom about her health insurance and how to start the process of finding someone to see.
