Default getting rid of stress?

Ive had this pain in my shoulder blades. Sometimes it really hurts and other times it feels tingly weird other times it feels like I am getting a tattoo on them. It goes up into my neck sometimes as well and it feels as if I cant breath. My doctor said it is stress related but did not elaborate or give me any real answers (why are all my doctors retarded?) Anyways how can I reduce stress? Thanks.

There is a possibility that it's stress related. Sounds like a trip to a chiropractor is needed as well as it seems like your nerves are irritated in your neck and back.

Back to the stress relief. Stress is caused by our interpretation of our environment and or situation, for some the same type of stress interpreted by one as very stressful isn't seen as stress to another. It's an attitude toward this. If you can change your interpretation/attitude towards life/situations in general your stress levels will decrease. This is said much easier than it is done. It's just like a bad habit, you need to break the bad habit of interpreting things worse than they are. There are other topics covering stress relief in this forum, I'm sure a search will turn up a few of them discussed in detail. If you can break this habit...your life will become much more enjoyable!

Yeah but I know where it is coming from. Its my kids at bed time. My kids will not stay in bed. I have seriously noooooo time to myself. They climb over the gates to their rooms meet up and run in different directions, I have to chave them around the house and then stand in front of their doors for hours at a time. This goes on until at least 10 pm then I have to make My husbands lunch (he works third shift.) Then I go to bed for two hours and then at least one of my kids wake up and I have to get up. They get up again between 3-5. Yesterday my son took his diaper off and peed in his bed. He then went to lay with my daughter and peed in her bed. Then he climbed over the gate grabbed my m,ilk from the fridge and dumped on me as I was sleeping, nice way to wake up. Its just that I am going from 6:30 am till 11:00 everyday!!!!!!!!! I really dont know what to do.

I am suppose to go to the chripractor for my back I am just nervous I still have not made the appointment.

Nanny 9-1-1.

But it sounds like some kind of discipline besides what you've been doing is needed.

if What you're doin doesn't work, then why not try something else?

They'll only get harder to teach as they get older.

What you try is up to you...

Belt is definately out of the question...for now.

How old are your children? Your children are just being children, they need you to be their parent and correct them/discipline them when they are misbehaving. Wetting the bed happens...and they will learn not too and outgrow it. However, they need to know what consequences will happen when they for example crawl over the gate when they aren't suppose to and or don't listen to you. Most of the time the quickest way to get the signal to their brains that they are doing something wrong is through their bottoms being slapped. I'm not talking about abusing them. If my parents wouldn't have spanked my bottom, I would have turned out horrible. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

moving on...It's ok to be nervous about trying something new, like going to a chiropractor. Ask them questions and tell them what concerns you.

yeah i didn't mean to beat the hell out of them with a belt. showing them that a little discomfort from a swat to the ass or a quick slap on the hand will get them to calm down a little.
