Default rank nasty farts - help!

So doc, what does one do about flatulence?

for about the past month I've had the worst farts you can think of - they're not the fun, noisy kind. Rather, they're the hot smelly ones that my office mates really don't enjoy(and me either)

I'm not eating anything all that different. It's been the same old thing. I've tried simethicone tablets to see if that would help, and it really hasn't. Got any other recommendations?

Eat more Yogurt, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Avoid, simple sugars, Trans fatty acids/hydrogenated vegetable oils, soda's, fried foods, fast foods, and fruit juices.

In the mean time...You can always be courteous and leave the room when you need to pass gas.

Simple sugars are easily broken down and readily available. Quick crash course about simple sugars (high glycemic index = bad)...

On packages of food you have things listed like Fat, cholesterol, salt, carbohydrates, sugar, protein, and fiber as well as total calories per serving.

Looking at the Carbohydrates and Sugars...with examples of low glycemic index vs. high glycemic index:

Below is an example of a high glycemic index.

If there are 36 carbohydrates in one serving and it lists 36 sugars. Then all 36 carbs are available at one time. This indicates the product has a high glycemic index. Simple sugars help feed bacteria/yeast that could be causing you to produce more gas. Yes, I know it's affecting you now and nothing has changed. You might have been on anti-biotics, or the bacteria has outgrown the amount that should be present normally in the intestines etc...

Below is an example of a low glycemic index which is better.

If there are 36 carbohydrates in one serving and it lists 5 sugars. Then only 5 sugars are available at a time instead of all 36. This means a low glycemic index.

Most of your cookes, cakes, sweets are all simple sugars. Hope that explains it in an understandable way. It's just going to take some work on your end to figure what is simple and what isn't simple sugars. Good luck! oh yah, you can also look at taking a probiotic support supplement, which will help balance out the bacteria in your intestinal track.

Well, in the meantime, If you know someone or yourself that has a pest problem, you can fumigate. Works well if I eat something spicy...

Just a thought....probably just gas.
