Default Doc. some advice

I have a case study for college Doc. I is focusing on a 41 year old female with various symptoms and ailments. It will be my job to chase down each possible reason for illness and present a presentation in a few weeks. I have been finding some good research at Mayo clinic's website and other reputable medical sites. I ran into a problem though with this.
In part II of the study the doctor has ordered "blood chemistry test" for endocrine and thyroid problems. In order to ensure the best possible accuracy i can i have decided to ask you what i should be looking for exactly in the results, since the Mayo and others returned empty queries.
Maybe you can help if you have the time. Thanks.

~Marc

Hello Marc,

Your question is very vague (as to what the symptoms are in this person) and that's probably why you didn't get an answer back from those other places.

Generally what you look for in any test is abnormalities from the norm. If these abnormalities are present, then other tests may need to be run and or the abnormalities found will give a definative diagnosis. That's the best answer I can give...

Good luck!
