Default Freaking Chalazions

Ok, I am currently 16. I had surgery to remove 5 chalazions I had in one eye. This was in August. At the time I had had them for about 1 year 8 months. In december I started getting new ones!! Not again . I started 2 days ago with hot compresses, washing hair with baby shampoo, washing face, taking silica and using something called Tobradex. What else can I do, I cant have surgery every 6 months, jeez.

You should see your eye doctor when a hard or growing mass in the eyelid that does not respond to warm compresses quickly. The above condition most often resolve without any lasting consequences. However, in your case since you have frequent recurrence you should see your eye doctor as chronic inflammations can result in cosmetic effects and functional impairment of the eyelids.

Bottom line, you're doing everything you can, now it's time to see your eye doctor again.
