So I wanted to ask you something. I started working out again and I'm trying to get down to about 210-220 lbs. I'm at about 255 right now. My trainer has me on this "fat burn" from apex fitness. I dont see any results at all. Recently I started to do cardio everyday for 30 mins. Sweating like a mule and I feel better, but I'm not loosing weight.
I dont know if this means anything or not, but these energy drinks, dont do anything for me. I hear people saying that they get jittery when they drink them, I feel nothing. Only thing I see is the florescent day glow yellow urine. Does the lack of affect tell you anything?
Most of my lbs I want to lose are in the gut. I'm thinking about trying the hydroxy cut again, I quit going to the gym so I stopped taking it. Have been taking CLA also. Used them for a month and just didnt see anything.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Be patient your building muscle as well as burning fat. Muscle weighs more than fat.... CLA causes muscle growth and fat burning alot of times weight stays the same.
Keep working hard, cut back on your intake of simple sugars: soda's, fruit drinks, alcohol, pastry snacks, etc...
Increase your intake of chicken. Chicken helps promote and grow lean muscle mass that helps to burn calories.
Give it time, be consistent in exercising (lifting weights and cardio) and in a year you'll really like the results.
Thanks for asking.
Oh yah, you don't need the energy drinks or any other supplements to loose weight or burn fat. You need to build muscles and they'll do that. The bright yellow urine is the body getting rid of excess B-vitamins that is all.

I have lost 8 lbs by just altering the time I eat at. I have a small snack (a bagel with a little peanut butter on it) at about 10am. Then I have a medium lunch at about 3pm, and then a medium dinner about 6pm or 7pm. Because the last 2 meals are fairly close together, I'm not as hungry and don't eat as much.
I eat a lot of chicken (plain breasts broiled) and salmon (chicken gives me gas), sometimes just makes my stomach not right. I have one soda a day with lunch. Any other drinks are water. I did gain 1 lb when working out, and lost one inch in the waist. I'm not to worried about muscle mass. I'm 6'0 and have broad chest/shoulders. I just want less gut
I dont really eat much, I've tried to at least start with a breakfast (special K or something more adult) and stay away from fried foods. I just dont have the appetite I used to. I'm 29 now.
I dont drink alcohol, and the energy drinks were just as an example. I didnt know if me not feeling all jittery meant anything. Like a slow metabolism or anything.
Is there anything I could do to drop a few quikly? I have my wedding in three weeks and I'd like to drop about 10 if possible. But I dont want to cause any harm to my body.
I think I need to find a work out partner.

Meaning, be active throughout the day and walk instead of driving when possible. Be always on the move.
30 minute cardio isn't enough if you spend the remaining 23 hours and 30 minutes doing nothing. You'll get a heart attack working out with that weight and altering your body chemistry with those pills and stuff.
Energy drinks? Give me a break. Like you need more energy. Eat normal. I mean, NORMAL.
Flourescent urine? LOL! Good luck in eating and drinking chemistry, refusing to do a normal thing - being active, eating normal, eating only what you need. Be a normal human and you won't be fat.
Or try a Caveman Diet, if you're up for the challenge.
I used to use it when I had to reduce weight quickly to fit the thai boxing weight division.
In the morning, eat fruit, fresh vegetables, all those things. The stuff a caveman could find in nature to survive until they catch a mammoth.
In the evening, eat until full and then eat some more (you don't know when will you catch the next mammoth). You can eat all you want, anything you want. Pretty soon you'll notice that you HAVE to eat strong food, to get you through the next day. No lettuce and low-sugar drinks.
Effect? People who do this are all muscle, with no water or fat.
Downside? In the first week, you're in danger to feint from hunger during the day.
Effect #2? People become agressive from doing this.
How will you feel? During the day, you'll feel like going through war or something, which will make you push even harder. In the evening, you'll get a burst of energy and power and everything. Which is good for romance.
1500 calorie/day diet will shed the weight off for your wedding. You really need a lifestyle change...have to look good for the wedding mentality is in my opinion stupid...you need to put time into the pursuit of your marriage instead of worrying about looking good for the wedding. Put energy into a lifestyle change that will do you and your marriage good instead of a quick short-term fix.
For your gut...stomach crunches...did I mention stomach crunches...3 sets of 60 and if you can do that...do more reps.
Sorry gave you a little more than you asked, but that's what I needed to say.

DannyMustang...did you read what I even typed? I do not drink them. I've had maybe 5. I'm just noting what it did/didn't do to me. Thats all. I'm active basicly all day. I'm a tech for Hyundai, lifting, walking, its 95 deg in the shop so I'm sweating all freaking day, and drinking a lot of water. I dont like to take pills partially cause I dont want to spend the $ on them and I think I can do it on my own.
The cave man diet, I get full quickly. Small portions fill me up. so I dont think I can do that. I like how I felt when I could actually get up early enough to eat breakfast, then a small but decent lunch. I'm just not a morning person.
The dropping 10lbs for the wedding is just for that, long term goal is to get down to about 210 or so and maintain it. It may sound stupid, but it would be nice for that one day, ya know.
I think my life style is decent. I dont eat candy, soda is at a minimum compared to when I worked for this pizza place. Like I said in the begining, I'll have one can a day if that. I've been going to the gym 3-4 times a week, when I dont work 10 hr days. I work usually 6 days a week, when I'm home its spent making dinner then for about 1 hr, unwinding. Even when I goto the gym I sit down for an hr and unwind....feels good to just relax.
Guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see what happenes.

Maybe that would be your best option. You know, it's hardest to get the belly off. People end up all skinny, still having the belly.
I'm not a fan of gyms, never was in one, even when I was doing thai boxing. There are plenty exercises which are harder and more effective than lifting weights and you can do them in your own home, but the problem is, when you go to a gym you know what you came for, while at home you need to decide "hmmm will I work out today...or maybe not". Still, being a heavyweight guy just like me, you're one big weight, you don't need additional ones. Weighing at 255, I bet it's harder for you to do a push up than bench press, especially if you're tall.
For example, put your back against the wall and "sit", having your knees bent in a perfect 90 degree angle. Sitting with no chair. 60 seconds...quads burn.
An interesting thing which I've noticed - I fought body builders several times, and to my surprise, I subdued them by pure strength, although you couldn't say I'm muscle. Meaning, something's wrong with the weight lifting concept.
Weight lifting develops only the big muscles, not the tiny ones. For heavyweight guys, it's my impression we need agility as we already have strength naturally. I recommend karate. I use it to keep myself in shape since I stopped being a competitive sportsman.
Cardio workout - I'm against it. It's like revving up the engine to the max. It's good for sportsmen, but dangerous for normal people. And many times you'll get better results just by playing basketball for a few hours.
I also think it's not healthy for the mind to work out without purpose. It's stress, and then your body releases toxins. For example, running around to win a basketball game is good, running just for the sake of running, to push your body harder, is bad. IMHO.
Candy - it's shouldn't be avoided. Sugar is the source of energy.
You saying that you get full quickly leads me to conclude that maybe you're fat because you're eating the wrong type of food. Maybe you're one of those guys who are naturally strong & healthy and need only carbs to get you through the day. Rice, bread, pasta...
I, for example, need to eat tons of proteins only to stay alive, I burn it all just by breathing. You might do well with carbs. If you feel full after eating a carb meal, and if you don't lack energy, it's a good choice for you.
Play basketball or soccer or something. Even if you're bad, there are always some guys who are also bad but love to play and to hang out with friends. Fresh air with friends or stinky air alone in the gym.
EDIT: shoot hoops every day until the wedding, you should lose 10 lbs easily.
Candy isn't good for you, substitute with honey or other fruits (those sugars are better for you).
