How tall are you?

If you are 5 feet 5 inches tall weighing between 125 and 135 is ideal. 140 is fine too.

Keep working at it get rid of the soda. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits (replace drinking soda with fruits). You can just about eat as many vegetables as you like.

Chicken helps to grow lean muscle mass and that's what helps to burn alot of calories. It will also give you a nice full feeling hours after you eat.

When you eat, eat slowly that way when you start to feel full stop eating. Eat smaller meals througout the day very good for metabolism and shrinking the stomach back to normal size instead of what most American's have "super size" lol.

Keep consistent in your exercise routine in years to come and you'll really like the results. Thanks for asking.

I am 5' 5" so maybe I need to eat more fruits and veggies and chicken, which is another thing I have done is I have substituted beef for chicken more often! I do need to eat slower, I worked at Burger King for three years and we only got 30min lunches so you learn to eat fast so maybe I need to retrain my body to take my time! Also I have another question that kinda ties into that, I had heard that when you eat you only really need to eat during the first 25min and anything after that is when your body gets full so is this true?? Like, your body is only hungry during those first few minutes.

It just takes a while for the stomach to send the signal to your brain that you're full. That's why you eat slowly and let your brain catch up with your stomach .

Just keep doing what you have been, be patient, and you'll like the results.

I got a job working at a whearhouse and lost 20 pounds.

And eat lots of chicken. lol. Doc is right about everything too, listen well.

AND try to eat smaller portions, i was raised the same way, have to finish everything on your plate or ELSE! So its hard for me to eat in moderation. I've found that if i take a little less that what looks like would fill me up, and eat it slow ill be ok. Also eat small snacks between meals to starve off hunger. Like a lowcarb health bar or something. South Beach Deit has some GREAT penut butter bars if you like penut butter. The chocolate ones are good too. Eat one of those right between your meals and youll be fine.

Drink plenty of water as well. Many times thirst manifests itself as hunger.

I did not kno that! I try to drink lots of water...I cut back on my pop intake drastically and I carry around a 1L bottle and I am constantly filling it up with water the only time I drink pop is in the morning when I am extremely tired! I have heard though that if you drink warm liquids it fills your stomach up or makes it feel full! Dont know if this is true or not...just something I heard!!
