i've done the swap in my accent too and don't have a CEL.. i also kept all the auto wiring harness...

i don't see why it wouldn't pass emmission... and with a motor swap if using the same motor that came with the car i don't see why you would need an exempsion

ok but if they run the emission test would it not still be the same emissions... i don't see why it woulnd't pass... and why would it really matter if it's auto or stick???

cause those guys have sticks up their asses.

if it says it should have an AUTO and it does not. You are out.

If you paint your STOCK throttle body purple. they could fail you.

but this only happens in CALI.

Get the chiltons manual for the 94-98 hyundai coupe.

that combine with webtech, will give you everything you need.

im going to swap my trans on my 2001 tibby. if i use the manuel wiring harness will that eliminate all the wiring hasel like backup lights , and make the check engine light stay off
