Mounts
-the question everyone always asks about, "what about mounts?". well the passenger side mount is the headache
why is it a headache? (well i bought just new tibby mounts for mine and.. yeah pro fit it for me)

ahh best to say this: To wanna be swapers. 1) get better dampers and spring then orginal , 2) get better brakes 3) you will need 1 and 2 hehe

well i dont like people use Accent ECU.. get tibby because accent ECU is make just for alpine engine

edit: fix spelling

So placing the 2litre engine in a X3 excel ( accent to americans) would it be awesome on the road would i be able to surprise many cars???? because it is seeming to me better adding the 2ltr in my car then turbocharging my little 1996 excel.

the whiteline front strut brace just fits. it bends behind the throttle body. it just touches that thingy that comes out of the back of the throttle body, and rattled a bit, but a bit of foam pipe insulation around the brace cured that.

(this is a tibby engine/tranny combo which sits a bit higher than a tibby engine/accent tranny combo.)

okay i got a question
i live in mississauga ontario canada
and this swap really interests me, so what i wanted to get some clarification on is about the following, what beta engine can i use? like what year out of tib or elantra do i need to find one? i own a 96 accent GT
also can i use my accent tranny??? and if so, what all does that need to be required to work with the beta engine? like pressure plate, clutch etc? do they stay the same from an accent, since u use the accent tranny? or do u have to get different ones?
