yes, the grocery list is very confusing but thankfully many people, like ant, have been able to anwser my questions and verify my parts list. so if i use the beta and 1.5 tranny what do i need to use for clutch and everything?

also, as i understand the 2.0 ecu is plug n play for the 98-99 x3s, is that correct? thanks guys

Default someone please update the grocery list

Can someone give an updated list on what engines can and cant be used to swap for a 96 accent GT? im very curious which ones can be and cant be, and im always hearing different things from different people, im just hoping that somene can update this so i dont have to search tons of messages

Im pulling my hair on this, because id like to do something with my 96 accent GT but im finding hard to find parts for this engine or any help on it, in regards to adding hp or even a turbo or supercharger to it. These DOHC from 96 dont have a lot of room to work with and im trying to find out if its possible without doing the swap, cuz i already have more hp then the sohc accents, i just want more :P

Johnny--- See what I had on my 97 GT and where I am going now.

Chaos-- As far as ECU's, for my 97 and 98-99, its plug and play according to what I have read, we'll see.... .

when you guys shorten the driveshafts, where do you go to get it done? is it expensive? At first I plan on keeping the stock tranny in the 99 accent. Im wondering if i need to shorten one of them... anyhelp?

you have to modify all mounts and cut 1 inch off outer drivers side shaft and weld cv joint to the shaft works great keep it cool with lots of grease when
welding
you have to move trans 1/2 to driver side for belts
