Default Motor Swap....1.8l to 2.0 l

If i were to get a 2.0 would it mount up to all my goodies in my 97 1.8 elantra? would it also be wise to use a 5-speed from a tibby in this venture or would it not apply to my make and model.......if so would there be noticable performance gains?

If the 1.8ltr in the '97 elantra was the same they put in the '97 Tib then it would bolt in but would not be worth the money since their was only a 5hp difference in the two engines. The money would be better spent on other mods.
