Default ok im a little worried about my swap now

i have an engine from a 98 elantra, is this a 1.8 motor? god i hope not.

whats this with the accent tranny not working, only and x3 problem?

did the 2001 accent GL have abs? with the pacakge 2?

i know i should knwo this stuff, but...

Actually, many consider the 1.8ltr to be more desireable due to the lower compression. Therefore, it is more ideal for turboing.

As far as the other questions, I dunno.

There is a replacement for displacement. It is on 2 wheels and 600cc.

actually.. Kirk is confused I think.


Ignore everything he said.

1.8L is look as being better for boost because of the shorter stroke. the idea is you put in a forged pistons and they wont knock around in the cylinder wall like happens on longer stroke motors.
98 motor could be 1.8L or 2.0L

Look on the back of your block it will be stamped what it is.

as for the tranny . no clue.
