Tiburon 2.0 engine swap for the nex accent 4 door - Hyundai Performance Forums

I would like to know if it is possible to fit the tiburon 2.0 Beta engine into the new accent 2003 4 door for racing purpose?

It is the same car as the 2000-2003 so yes. The only real difference is a body makeover.

What problems did you have sourcing the parts? I didn't think that was a problem?

he was converting from map to maf so he had trouble finding all the necessary bits and pieces at junkyards and had to goto the dealership for some.

and it turns out my engine was a 1.8L, so we returned the parts to the dealrship, got th emoney back and bought a full msd dis2 ignition and a nitrous kit.
