I saw in a magazine a 2003 Tiburon using the AWD sante fe to make his tibby AWD
is this possible in a '99 tiburon? does the sante fe come in 5spd?

compare the 03 floor plan with the 99.

You wil find the 99 does have the proper floor plan for AWD.

Also the current company making AWD tibby oonverions is using the auto.

Since the santafe AWD only comes in an automatic tranny. and also only in the v6.

edit-

before you say, how come the rally team, has awd and 4cyc.

Well they have lots of money to fabricate new parts and new transmission.

They also use EVO lancer driveline parts mainly.

Hi Nitrox

which magazine is this?....I go with Shadohh.....coz it is remotely impossible to place the drive and rear axle where by the base or floor of the car does not have the 'hump thingy' for it to be placed unless he is gonna have a ride height of a buggy?

The cheapest way to get AWD would be to rip out the back seat, install a 2nd engine in the reaer to drive the rear wheels, and run two automatic transmissions. You can also do wicked cool burnouts by putting the front wheels in drive and the rear wheels in reverse.

I saw that done with a cadillac and 2 northstars. It looked like a really big Fiero. And yes, the guy did a burnout like you said.

Um, that's why I asked, I looked and did not find. Since this is online I won't retort with my initial reaction, because its too hard to tell sometimes if someone is being a smart ass, hehe But I did look first (and looked hard, but I guess not hard enough) before asking, at least give me the benefit of the doubt, hehe
