Default MOVED: I4 swap?

Would an I4 swap be as easy to do as a beta swap in a 1998 X3? Are the mountings mostly the same?

LOL, I hope you are having somebody do the swap for you.

I4 stands for Inline 4 cylinder. Basically, the engine you have now is an I4, so is the Beta, and prety much any other 4 cylinder engine made.

There are also I6 motors such as the RB26DET (Skyline motor) and 2JZGTE (Supra motors. Then V6 such as the Delta in the Tib GT and V8 motors like the Mutang GT and other muscle cars.

Hope this cleared up your confusion.
