Default Beta swap concerning the exhaust.

Ok I might get my car swapped soon and I'd like to know something. Could I swap and keep the stock accent exhaust system (till I have the money to change it, and it will be the next mod on the car)? The accent is 1.5"? Will the engine work properly or not? Will I just lose HP?

Yeah but I posted here since it related more to exhausts. Its like asking if a tibby would run properly with a 1.5" exhaust and what would be the effects.

This realy more of a hybrid question but I can understand why you could put it in n/a tuning.

To answer your question, no you can't for these reasons.
1) It will choke the engine down and won't be good for it.
2) It won't match up anyways without modifying it so you might as well change it.

you can run the stock exhaust piping from the cat to the muffler but i wouldn't suggest it, like kirk said it will choke the exhaust. from the exhaust manifold to the cat you will need a custom test pipe built to match up with the stock exhaust piping so you might as well swap it all out anyway.

Are you serious? That includes everything I need to add to make the engine run properly (except the fitting on the exhaust manifold)?
