Default Hi all

Well I was told to post here. I've performed a 2001 Accent 1.6liter swap to 2.0 Tibby. It was a 2001 tibby that my friend totaled but the engine was still pristine. So I got a great deal on it. I am using the Tibby gearing but Rob(our leader) gave me a hint on using the transmission form the 1.8 Tibby so I'll have to check it out. This is a great site and I hope to gain alot of usefull info from this site.

How'd the wiring go? I know the 2001 Accent has a MAS sensor, while the Tib has a MAF.

The MAS was replaced with the with the MAF since the ECU was replaced with the Tibby ECU for the 2.0. As for the grunt work I was lucky enough to know a guy who took on the responibility for me. He also did most of the work on my Impala as well.

Did you do the work yourself? If not, what did engine/tranny and labor cost?

Damnit! I used to live 4hrs away from Charlotte It would have been nice to be able to get a swap done by someone who has already done it

Oh well please post some pics if you can. Along with any and all info you can give us. Thanks
