Really barman, I didn't think most of that would be an issue. Maybe the fuel cutoff would be a problem, but as for all the sensors, once the ecu is reset if it got all the same signals a manual got, I didn't think it would amke a difference. If it didn't get the parking signal it would assume there wasn't one. From what i've seen and heard their isn't much of a problem using an auto ecu with a manual, only problems i'd see happening was if you tried using the manual ecu on an auto...then again I could be wrong as sometimes I can be

you'll have to either connect a couple wires together from the park/neutral safety switch, or hook them up to the clutch pedal switch, and there are a couple other small things to do if you don't want a check engine light(Shadohh, and I think BlackTibs would be better to ask about the CEL) as far as the fuel cut off, it should be at the same RPM limit, the autos just shift right at red line, after my tranny swap I can take my car up to about 6200RPM with a 6000RPM red line

Its the same ecm. One of the pins on the ecm gets a voltage signal from the TCM to tell the ecm its in an automatic and to run accordingly. I forget the pin number, but I think its pin72.
