Engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness.

If your doing a 5spd conversion, you will need to scour stuff from a 5sp excel too such as the pedals and center console.

gonna keep it auto for now, my sister is gonna be using it for a while. so its just drops in no motor mount issues? sounds easy enough. anything else i should know, exhaust, or any other small stuff.

I am not sure about it being NO motor mount issues but it is still a fairly straightforward swap from what others have said.

hey i have a 91 excel and a 90 4g63t, the swap is pretty easy, here is what you need, a good motor, and turbo, wiring, ecu, then you would either use your hyundai tranny or if you want to go to dsm you would need the tranny drive axles, hubs, brakes, etc. all of the above is a direct bolt in or close enough that it isn't really a pain. also beware of the fact that the at trannys that are in the excles can't really handle horsepower, believe me i converted mine to stick after going threw three trannys, good luck

ohh also if you want to go mirage/hyundai tranny you would need th4e flywheel etc. off of the old or donor motor to fit the smaller tranny
