Default real LC/beta swap information

Ok, so ive been reading the forums now for a while, and it seems that a couple of people have done the Beta swap on their cars. I never seem to see any real information on the swap though. I know that the motormounts have to be modified, i know that the axles have to be shortened and i know the computer harness has to be modified, and that the shift linkages have to be messed with. But nobody ever posts any numbers. so if anyone that did the swap knows i would like to know the following:

1. How much/and where are the axles supposed to be shorteneds

2. what is the exact motormount modifications that need to be done

3. How is the computer wired

4. how is the shift linkage modified

5. any other important info that i should know

I just really want to do this swap but do not want to end up with my car on jack stands for a whole century while i do it.

thanks

thats right i hate when you ask a qestion like that and when they tell a an answer they dont really tell you what you want to know. i would like to know the same, i'm thinking about doing a swap in my 2002 LC accent and no one gave me the info i wanted. it would be nice to have a total price list, a total parts list, and every single thing i will need to do the swap.

you get the answer you get because we don't know. how many times do we have to say "we are not positive" for you guys to understand that we are not going to give you false information. we can only tell you what we believe until someone documents an LC swap.

As soon as I get the swap done to my 02 accent, I will post the info if no one else has.
